This Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy” or “Policy”) applies to The Candle Club, LLC’s (referred to here as “Company”, or “we”, or “us”, or “our”) offline and online data collection practices, including when you visit and interact with our website at https://thecandleclub.com/ (“Site”), contact us by phone or email, register for an account with us, place an order for merchandise available through the Site (“Product(s)”), sign up for our mailing list, respond to a survey, participate in any sweepstakes or contests, or when you engage with us on our social media accounts (together with any future online and offline offerings, the “Services.”)
This Privacy Policy explains what information, including Personal Information (as defined hereafter), we collect from or about you on our Services, how we use or share such information, how to exercise any rights you may have with respect to your Personal Information, and the safeguards we have in place to reduce the risk of unauthorized access and use. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, “Personal Information” means any information, alone or in combination, from which a natural person can be identified. It does not include data where identifiers have been removed (e.g., anonymous or aggregate data).
We may update this Policy from time to time, as specified in the “Changes to This Privacy Policy” Section below.
Various state laws confer certain rights relating to personal information to their citizens. If you are a resident of such states, please also review our specific state notice sections below.
Please note that our Products are currently only available in the United States and some parts of Canada. We do not market our Products to individuals outside of these jurisdictions. If you are not located in these jurisdictions, please do not use the Site or submit any personal information to us.

Unless otherwise noted, Company is the controller and is responsible for your Personal Information. Should you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, including any requests to exercise your privacy rights, please contact us using our online form.
2. YOUR CONSENT
You should read this entire Policy before submitting information to us or using our Site and Services. By accessing or using the Site and our Services or voluntarily submitting information to us by any means, you consent to the collection, use, disclosure, transfer, and storage of that information in accordance with this Policy.
We may make full use of all information that is de-identified, aggregated, or otherwise not in personally identifiable form as such information is not Personal Information.
3. TYPES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND USE
We collect Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information (as defined hereafter) using three primary sources: 1) from you; 2) using automated technology through our Services such as when you visit our Site or communicate with us including through email; and 3) through third-party sources including, but not limited to, service providers, data brokers, social networks, advertising companies, business partners, governmental entities, public records, and internet service providers. Automated technology collects information from your computer or mobile device and includes cookies, web beacons, local shared objects, or other similar tracking technology. For purposes of this Policy, “Sensitive Personal Information” shall be understood to mean any information that reveals: (a) consumer’s Social Security or other state identification number; (b) a consumer’s account log-in, financial account, debit card, or credit card number in combination with any required security or access code, password, or credentials allowing access to an account; (c) consumer’s geolocation; (d) consumer’s racial or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, or union membership; (e) the contents of a consumer’s mail, email, or text messages, unless the business is the intended recipient of the communication; (f) consumer’s genetic data; and (g) other categories according to applicable state laws.
All Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information will be used as stated in this Policy. We may combine data collected from third party sources.
We collect Personal Information such as your name, email address, mailing address, and telephone number, when you use our Services. We collect Sensitive Personal Information relating to your account and inferences about your philosophical beliefs.
We collect data about you automatically through your browser, device, hardware, and software. This information includes your IP address, device ID, browser type, domain names, access times and dates, number of clicks, pages viewed, one or more cookies (as described below) that may uniquely identify your browser and referring website addresses through our Services. We or other parties may collect Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use the Site.
We collect precise geolocation and records of products or services purchased, obtained, or considered.
We use your Personal Information for the following purposes:
- to provide you with our Products and Services or information you request. This can include, but is not limited to, performing a contract we’ve entered with you, processing orders for you, or fulfilling other transactions as necessary from time to time;
- to respond to your questions and queries including the provision of support and assistance to you;
- to track traffic patterns and analyze your use of the Site so that we can make your experience better by understanding how you use our Site;
- to enhance, modify, and improve our Products (including those not yet developed and sold via other affiliate sites), Services, business, and Site (including any websites not yet developed and pertaining to affiliate sites);
- to prevent, investigate, identify, or take any action deemed necessary with regard to suspected or actual fraudulent or illegal activity or any activity that violates our Terms of Use, this Policy, and any other applicable Company policies;
- to address information security and/or privacy issues, network functionality, and troubleshooting;
- to investigate claims and/or legal actions, violations of our policies and procedures, and compliance with relevant applicable laws, regulations, and legal process;
- to comply with any and all applicable laws, regulations, or legal process as well as industry standards and our Company policies and procedures;
- to research, test and develop products , market, and pursue other business purposes including, without limitation, for analytics and profiling technology to customize your experience, deliver content tailored to your preferences, and market to you through targeted and behavior based advertising;
- to send promotional communications and/or offers to you; and
- to fulfill objectives as otherwise identified to you at the point of collection.
4. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
We share your Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information with:
- Our Corporate Family. We share your Personal Information with subsidiaries, affiliates, and related companies including, without limitation, The Daily Wire, LLC.
- Service Providers. We share your information with service providers who have agreed to keep the information confidential and use it only to provide the applicable service(s) that we use to support our business and operations such as vendors that host our Site and data and fraud detection companies.
- Third-Party Vendors. We share your information with third party vendors that we work with to gather information about you, to communicate with you, and to advertise to you. Such third party vendors include, but are not limited to, entities that sponsor sweepstakes and contests, social media companies, companies that provide data analytics, and targeted/behavior based advertising services companies.
- As legally Necessary. We share your information with third-parties (including, without limitation, governmental agencies) if required to do so by applicable law, regulation, or court order; to respond to governmental and/or law enforcement requests; to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interfering with our (or others’) rights or property; to support any actual or threatened claim, defense, or declaration in a case or before any jurisdictional and/or administrative authority, arbitration or mediation panel; or in connection with disciplinary actions/investigations.
- In the Event of Merger, Sale, or Other Asset Transfers. We may share information with an acquirer or successor-in-interest in the event of a reorganization, merger, sale, change of control, consolidation, joint venture, assignment, transfer, or other disposition of all or any part of Company or its affiliates including any negotiation thereof.
- With Your Consent. We may share information with your consent and at your direction.
5. COOKIES AND OTHER AUTOMATED TECHNOLOGY
Cookies. A “cookie” is a small text file that is placed onto an Internet user’s web browser or device and is used to remember and/or obtain information about the user. A “web beacon” is a small object or image that is embedded into a web page, application, or email and is used to track activity. They are also sometimes referred to as pixels and tags.
We and/or third parties may collect information using cookies, web beacons, pixels, tags, and other similar technology, through the Services, for the purposes described in this Policy including to keep track of your interactions on our Site and other websites, to provide you with a more customized experience, and to serve targeted advertisements to you.
We and our service providers may use session-replay tools, which record your interactions with our Services, such as how you move throughout our Services and engage with our webforms. In addition to the uses described in the “TYPES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND USE” section above, this information helps us improve our Services and identify and fix technical issues visitors may be having with our Services.

Artificial Intelligence. We may use generative artificial intelligence, machine learning, or related tools, such as chatbots and other artificial intelligence enabled machines (“AI") to improve, develop, and deliver our products and services. We may use AI to analyze how our Services are used and interacted with, or to process certain content our customers send or display through the Services, including by conducting data analytics to develop insights about your use of the Services, needs and preferences, so we can make more informed predictions, recommendations, and improve our products and Services. Some of the AI technologies we use, including our chatbot, allow us and our vendors to monitor and analyze how visitors use our Services to better understand user behavior and improve our Services. When you interact with us online, information related to your behavior may be collected by us and our vendors.
When giving you an option to interact with AI technology such as a chatbot, we will provide additional notice and the opportunity to opt out, when appropriate. We will not use AI to subject you to decisions based solely on automated decision-making that have a significant impact on you without providing additional notice, as appropriate.
Google Analytics. We use certain web analytics services, such Google Analytics, to help us understand and analyze how visitors use our Services. We use this information to implement Google advertising features such as dynamic remarketing, interest-based advertising, audience targeting, behavioral reporting, demographics and interests reporting, user segment analysis, device reporting, display advertising, video ads reporting, and impression reporting. Third-party ad technology companies and advertisers, including Meta and TikTok, may use, store, or access cookies, web beacons, and other storage technologies to collect or receive information from our websites and elsewhere on the internet and use that information to provide advertising services to us, including, interest-based advertising or advertisements targeted to your interests. You may opt out of interest-based ads from companies participating in the National Advertising Initiative consumer opt out link (optout.networkadvertising.org) or the Digital Advertising Alliance's consumer opt out link (aboutads.info/choices). Please note this does not opt you out of being served ads and opting out via one browser, device, or app may not necessarily opt you out of collection from all browsers, devices, or apps. Additionally, you may still see “contextual” ads even if you opt out of interest-based ads. These ads, however, are based on the context of what you are looking at on the websites and pages you visit. Even if you opt out of interest-based ads you will still receive these non-personalized, contextual ads.
In certain instances, we may contract with vendors to help us analyze activity through our Services, including our chat functionality, through session replay technologies that allow us to review the history of how visitors use our Services and to improve our Services. These technologies may collect the following types of information, among others: IP address; screen size; device type (unique device identifiers); browser information; geographic location; and preferred language.
We or our vendors may collect Personal information about your online activities over time and across different devices and online websites when you access the Services. We and our vendors may link the information collected by tracking technologies to other information collected about you.

We and/or third-parties, including service providers, advertising companies, and social networks, use cookies, web beacons, and other similar technology, through the Services, to collect information for the purposes described in this Policy including targeted advertising, analytics, monitoring performance and improvement of our online Services (traffic, errors, page load time, popular pages, etc.).

You may opt-out of receiving emails and communications from us at any time by clicking on the Unsubscribe link provided in the footer of emails or by sending a request here . Please note, even if you opt out of promotional communications, we will continue to send to you non-promotional emails such as service notices related to your account, billing, transactions, and orders.
7. Text messages
If you provide your mobile phone number to us, we may ask for your consent to receive text message alerts from us containing product, event, or promotional information in a text or SMS message (“Text Message(s)”). The Text Message program allows users to receive SMS/MMS mobile messages by users affirmatively opting into the program, such as through online enrollment forms or by texting a keyword to 83400 or any successor short code to opt into the program. Your consent to receive Text Messages is not required to purchase Products or Services from us. Additional terms regarding Text Messages will apply—please review the applicable terms carefully when you provide your mobile phone number.
If you consented to receiving promotions or advertising via Text Message, you can unsubscribe from receiving Text Messages at any time by replying “STOP” to one of our Text Messages. For help, text HELP to 83400 or contact us by sending a request here.
Notwithstanding anything else in this Policy, Company does not share Personal Information or Sensitive Personal Information obtained through its short code texting program with unaffiliated third-party companies for marketing purposes.
8. EXTERNAL LINKS
The Services may contain links to third-party applications and websites. These other applications, websites and domains operate with privacy policies beyond our control. All data practices related to information you provide to such companies are governed by their privacy policies and terms of use. We encourage you to review their policies prior to submitting any information to them. We are not responsible for your interactions with or any transactions that occur between you and such third-party websites or social media accounts.
9. SECURITY
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information, whether in transmission or storage. Please keep in mind, however, that there is no such thing as perfect security, and no Internet transmission is ever completely secure or error-free therefore we cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information.
10. RETENTION OF DATA
We will retain your Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. We will also retain and use your Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies. To determine the appropriate retention period, we will consider: (a) the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the data; (b) the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of the data; (c) the purposes for which we process the data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means; and (d) the applicable legal requirements. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, at the end of the retention period we will remove Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information from our systems and records or take appropriate steps to properly anonymize, deidentify, or aggregate such data, where legally applicable.
11. CROSS-BORDER DATA TRANSFERS
Company is based in the U.S. and the information we collect will be transferred to, processed, and stored on our servers anywhere in the world, including to the U.S. The data protection laws and regulations applicable to your Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information upon transfer may be different from the laws in your country of residence.
12. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 13. If you are below the age of 13, you should not interact with our Site or social media accounts. If we become aware that we have obtained Personal Information and/or Sensitive Personal Information from an individual under age 13, we will delete such information in accordance with applicable law.
13. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY NOTICE
a. “Shine The Light” Law — California residents with whom Company has an established relationship have the right to request certain information with respect to any Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information Company may have shared with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Alternatively, Company may provide a cost-free means to opt out of such sharing. Company has opted to provide you with a cost-free means to opt out of such sharing. If you do not want Company to disclose your Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information to other companies for their marketing purposes, please contact us using the request form at here.
For California residents under the age of 18 and registered users of the Website or Services, California law (Business and Professionals Code § 22581) provides that you can request the removal of content or information you posted on the Website. Any such request should be sent to us using the request form at https://support.thecandleclub.com/hc/en-us along with a description of the posted content or other information to be removed. Be advised, however, that applicable law may not permit us to completely or comprehensively remove your deleted content or for other reasons as set forth in this California law.
b. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) — Under CCPA and CPRA, California residents may be able to exercise additional rights listed below in accordance with the laws of the State of California independently or through an authorized agent: Right to Correct, Right to Know, Right to Delete and Right to Opt Out.
Right to Correct. If you believe that Personal Information or Sensitive Personal Information we maintain about you is inaccurate, you have the right to request that we correct that information.
Right to Know. You have the right to request that we disclose the following information for the 12-month period prior to the request date. Consumer requests of this nature may be made no more than twice in a 12-month period. You have the right to know what Personal Information we have collected about you, which includes:

• The categories of sources from which the Personal Information was collected;
• Our business or commercial purposes for collecting, sharing, or disclosing Personal Information;
• The categories of recipients to which we disclose Personal Information;

• The categories of Personal Information that we disclosed for a business purpose, and for each category identified, the categories of recipients to which we disclosed that particular category of Personal Information.

Right to Delete Your Personal Information. You have the right to request that we delete Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information we collected from you, subject to certain exceptions. Under the CCPA and CPRA, we may decline to delete your Personal Information under certain circumstances, for example, if we need the Personal Information to complete transactions or provide services you have requested or that are reasonably anticipated, for security purposes, for legitimate internal business purposes (including maintaining business records), to comply with applicable law, or to exercise or defend legal claims. Note also that we are not required to delete your Personal Information that we did not collect directly from you.
Right to Opt Out of Sales and Sharing of Personal Information. You have the right to opt out of the sale of your Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information, and to request that we do not share your Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Please note that opting-out of the sale of your information for interest-based advertising purposes does not mean you will stop seeing ads, including interest-based ads, and your information that was collected and sold prior to ninety (90) days before your opt-out request may be further used and sold for interest-based advertising purposes

Right to Limit Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information. We do not use or disclose Sensitive Personal Information for purposes to which the right to limit use and disclosure applies under the CCPA and CPRA.
Rights Related to Automated Decision-Making. You have the right to opt out of automated decision-making, including profiling, that we use to evaluate certain personal aspects relating to your performance at work, economic situation, health, personal preferences, interests, reliability, behavior, location, or movements.
Right to Non-Discrimination for the Exercise of Your Privacy Rights. If you choose to exercise any of your privacy rights under the CCPA and CPRA, you also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment by us.
You may use an authorized agent to submit requests. We do not discriminate against a user if they exercise any of the rights available under the CCPA or CPRA. However, we may charge a different price or rate, or offer a different level or quality of good or service, to the extent that doing so is reasonably related to the value of the applicable data and permitted under the law. We will make a good faith estimate of the value of the consumer’s data based on relevant expenses related to the collection and retention of Personal Information as part of each such program.
In addition, we may offer you financial incentives for the collection, sale and retention and use of your Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information as permitted by applicable state laws that can, without limitation, result in reasonably different prices, rates, or quality levels. The material aspects of any financial incentive will be explained and described below or in its program terms. Please note that participating in incentive programs is entirely optional. You will have to affirmatively opt-in to the program and you can opt-out of each program (i.e., terminate participation and forgo the ongoing incentives) prospectively by following the instructions in the applicable program description and terms. We may add or change incentive programs and/or their terms by posting notice on the program descriptions and terms linked to above so check them regularly.

The financial incentive we offer to consumers through each program is reasonably related to the value of the consumer’s data. We have made a good faith estimate of the value of the consumer’s data based on relevant expenses related to the collection and retention of personal information as part of each program.
Participants in a financial incentive program may make a personal information deletion request as set forth herein. Consumers that are part of a rewards program will then be sent an email requesting that they confirm that they want to delete their respective program data. You may also terminate program participation at any time, as explained in each program’s terms or by calling us at (818) 699-9948. Upon a termination request, some program data associated with the terminated account may be retained for recordkeeping, tax reporting, and other legally permissible purposes. You can opt out of non-program marketing emails or delete your personal information from our active marketing lists and retain your program account and benefits.
We will not fulfill a request pursuant to CCPA or CPRA unless you have provided sufficient information for us to reasonably verify you are the consumer about whom we collected Personal Information and/or Sensitive Personal Information. We will take appropriate steps to confirm the identity of a consumer making a request for purposes of verifying the authenticity of the request. You may be required to provide certain Personal Information to allow us to verify that you are the consumer about whom the request is being made. If you request that we provide you with specific pieces of Personal Information about you, we will apply heightened verification standards. An authorized agent may submit a request on behalf of a consumer if the consumer has provided the authorized agent with power of attorney in accordance with necessary state law; alternatively, the agent must (1) present verifiable written authorization from the consumer that the agent has the consumer’s permission to submit the request; and (2) independently verify the agent’s own identity with Company. We will typically not charge a fee to fully respond to your requests, but we may charge a reasonable fee, or refuse to act upon a request, if your request is excessive, repetitive, unfounded, or overly burdensome. Some Personal Information we maintain about consumers (e.g., clickstream data) is not sufficiently associated with enough Personal Information about the consumer for us to be able to verify that it is a particular consumer’s Personal Information. Accordingly, we will not include such information in response to consumer requests. If we cannot comply with a request, we will explain the reasons in our response. We will use Personal Information provided in your request only to verify your identity or authority to make the request and to track and document request responses unless you also provided the Personal Information to us for another purpose.
We do not sell the Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information of consumers we actually know are less than 16 years of age, unless we receive affirmative authorization (the “right to opt-in”) from either the consumer who is between 13 and 16 years of age, or the parent or guardian of a consumer less than 13 years of age. Consumers who opt-in to Personal Information or Sensitive Personal Information sales may opt-out of future sales at any time.
Please note that while CCPA and CPRA rights do apply to Personal Information collected from job applicants and employees, this policy only covers those individuals in their capacity as users of our Website. Separate privacy disclosures will be made to these parties during their application and onboarding processes.

Nevada residents who wish to exercise their sale opt-out rights under Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A may submit a request here.

Profiling. At present, we do not use Automatic Processing without human intervention, including profiling, in a way that produces legal effects concerning you or otherwise significantly affects you. Automatic Processing means decisions made without human involvement producing legal or similarly significant effects on an individual involving biometrics, creditworthiness, critical infrastructure, or essential benefits.

Bona Fide Loyalty Programs
We may offer you certain loyalty program benefits permitted under applicable law that can result in different prices, rates, quality, or selection levels. A loyalty program notice is either provided below for the particular program listed or will be provided in connection with the offer for the particular program.
1. Participation in a loyalty program requires your prior opt-in consent, which you may revoke at any time. The “HOW WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION” Section above identifies the categories of Personal Information that we may collect, sell, or process for targeted advertising through the loyalty program. The chart below shows the third parties who may receive your Personal Information in connection with the loyalty program, loyalty program partners, and the program benefits provided by each partner.
